Fastlane Affiliate Marketing

If you want to generate affiliate commissions as fast as possible, this article is for you!

Let’s dive in.

Why Is This Important?

It might surprise you, but although I’m not a big fan of the instant gratification and “fast/quick”-mentality, I’m a heavy supporter of making your first commission as a newbie as early as possible.

Why is that?

Because it will open your mind.

When you made your first commission, you see this whole affiliate marketing thing not anymore as lofty, clouded dream but as what it is:

A true business.

You’ll realize that it is indeed possible to consistently generate money online.

And: It is not only possible, but possible for you!

This is huge my friend.

For many, this means a complete mindset/paradigm shift.

So, if you want to see results fast, and if you are ready to spend a bit of money to buy traffic and make things move faster, here’s what I suggest:

Step 1: Build A Simple Landing Page

Don’t overcomplicate this first step.

Actually, it’s very easy to accomplish this with today’s tools.

You don’t need a big, complicated website or funnel (builder) and you don’t need a ton of content for this, instead:

Less is better. (in this case)

Your only goal and the only option for your visitors on this very simple page is to opt-in, to sign up to your email list.

The only other option for the visitor is to leave the site, of course.

But if your landing page is highly relevant to the reader, and if you offer something great in return, you should see at least 30% of all visitors signing up to your newsletter.

Step 2: Create A Lead Magnet

Why would your visitors hand over their valuable email address to you?

Simple: Because you give them what they want. For free!

Who could say no to this? 😊

But what do you give them?

What Makes A Good Lead Magnet?

There’re many options and good ideas, most of them are digital downloads.

==> A Proven Lead Magnets List is included in my Online Business Blueprint (PDF), which you can get here, for free.

In short: You want to give them something that is

  • of high value to them and
  • easy to consume.

That’s basically an incentive for your visitors to give you their email address.

Step 3: Setup Your Autoresponder And Connect It To Your Landing Page

Sounds complicated, but it’s not.

An autoresponder is like an automated email account where all your email subscribers are stored.

==> This Is A Great One. Your First Month Is Free!

When a visitor enters his/her email address on your landing page, it will automatically be added to the database.

And he’ll get your lead magnet.

Automatically delivered into the email mailbox.

It’s in your own, best interest to really help your list with valuable, actionable content.

Later, you will promote products that will help your readers even further and that’s when you generate your commissions.

All of this happens completely automated once everything is set up.

There’re many companies that offer autoresponders, from free and pretty useless to really good SaaS companies with lots of tracking tools.

Step 4: Drive Traffic To Your Landing Page

Now we’re getting closer to the fun part.

By far the fastest way to get visitors to your landing page is via advertising (media buying).

These ads will appear on search engines (like Google and Bing), or on social media (like YouTube and Facebook), or on other people’s websites.

These websites already have an extremely high, very consistent flood of visitors.

If you advertise (your lead magnet) on these sites, some of their visitors will click on your ad and arrive on your landing page. 😃

And some of them will enter their email address to get their gift.

Then they will open and read your emails, and some of them will eventually buy the products and services you recommend.

And that means: 💰 into your pocket.

It’s a pretty simple, neat process, right?

Where’s The Catch?

There is none.

Really.

Sure, you will need to spend some money to buy the traffic (advertising).

And it will take some time and testing before you will see your first results.

But:

The described process is way faster than anything else I can think of.

Building a huge, authoritative website and producing lots and lots of content takes a lot of work and time!

Step 5: Test And Optimize

Test different lead magnets.

Test different landing pages.

And test different traffic sources.

Some will work better for certain offers and some won’t work at all for you.

That’s totally normal.

In the end, it all depends on who you target. (audience)

You may want to test different headlines on your landing page, and different subject lines in your emails.

You’re Welcome! 😉

Step 6: Count Your $$$ And Start Scaling

As soon as you get your small funnel profitable, you can start scaling.

This means, you re-invest some of your profits back into (more) advertising.

That’s where the fun really begins… 😃

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

Can you see why this process is a great way to get started with affiliate marketing?

If you follow the steps above, you will see results.

Fast.

Here’s what you don’t need to make this work:

  • create a huge, complicated, big website
  • fizzle arround with technical stuff, trying to optimize site speed, images, bounce rates, etc.
  • learn all about html, css, wordpress, themes, and countless plugins
  • worry about website security
  • pay lots of money upfront for expensive hosting
  • learn all about SEO, building backlinks, keyword research and start guest blogging
  • apply all things above, all day, every day, without seeing any results for months
  • getting crazy in the process

Although “Fastlane Affiliate Marketing” shortcuts the learning curve quite a bit, and saves you a ton of work, it can produce results very quickly.

But don’t get me wrong.

This is not a get-rich-quick scheme, you still need to put in the necessary work, set things up, and test a lot - initially.

Of Course, There Are Other Ways, Too

Content marketing and SEO in order to rank high on Google and getting organic traffic is great, too.

That’s why I highly suggest you start learning about websites, SEO, keyword research and SEO - at least on the side.

It will greatly benefit you in the long run!

But the idea of the Fastlane approach is to see results quickly.

And that’s simply not possible with “free”/organic ranking methods.

Lastlz, I’d like to make you aware of a few pitfalls:

Mistake No 1: Confusing Fast With Easy

Don’t confuse fast with easy.

You still have to put in the work, focus on setting everything up and getting rid of distractions.

You still have to build trust and rapport with your list first before recommending helpful and valuable products and services to them.

But once set up, this process can run prettymuch hands off.

Of course you want to regularly check your advertising campaigns, budgets, click costs, conversion rates etc.

Mistake No 2: Recklessly Throwing Money Away

Yes, you can generate revenue quickly with this approach of affiliate marketing.

You need some money to test waters and to see what works for you and your audience.

Make sure you don’t lose too much of your hard earned cash.

Instead, start small.

Therefore, it’s important that you understand what you’re getting into.

You have to understand the whole process before you start with media buying.

Mistake No 3: Thinking This Is The Only Way

There’s many ways to generate commissions online with affiliate marketing.

But you asked for the fastest way.

Let’s take a quick look at the different approaches:

Tortoise Vs. Hare

Generally speaking, there are two approaches to marketing your business online:

  1. “Free”/Organic Traffic Strategies - slow and steady but free
  2. Paid Traffic/Advertising/Media Buying Strategies - fast but paid (advertising costs)

Obviously, which way you choose to start with depends on your budget and how fast you want to see results.

Or how long you can wait.

It’s also a question of how much money you can afford to spend on ads and how much time you give yourself to learn the necessary skills.

Full disclosure:

I do both.

Personally, I like the scalability of advertising.

This also gives me a fast and reliable way to test new niches and offers.

Plus, it’s like turning the traffic-faucet on and off.

I really love that aspect of media buying.

Of course, I also enjoy highly targeted, organic traffic from content marketing - but this takes time to see results.

If you want to see results quickly, I just showed you the shortcut:

Fastlane Affiliate Marketing.

The fastest way to generate affiliate commissions online.

Period.
